In our faith financed mission activities, donate
love gifts to Mark and Delma

Delma and I were married in February 1977, we have four adult children and we are now grand parents. We have been faith-faith financed missionaries since 1982 with love gifts from our support network - meeting our family and ministry financial needs. The Lord is the centre of our lives.

Over all these years we have enjoyed five praying ladies who have committed themselves to prayer for us each day.

In recent years I have been extremely careful concerning my holistic health. I am under constant medical and pastoral care. In November 2016,   I turned 65, now they tell me I'm an old age pensioner - not quite, years of ministry ahead!

a brief overview

I have been in ministry since 1977 as a Baptist minister. In 1982 I founded the Sports and Leisure Ministry (chaplains into Australia's professional Sports), retiring from that in 2000. During that time I served as the Australian cricket team chaplain for 17 years, then established Life After Cricket in November of that same year.

Our Olympic ministry was initiated in 1984 and in 2009 Delma and I were awarded the Olympic Ministry Medal by Carl Lewis the Olympian of the Century. We also received an Australian award for Distinguished Christian Leadership. In 2005 New Life Christian Newspaper carried out a survey for the top 25 most influential Australian Evangelicals from people working in Australian evangelical ministries and I was listed.

In 1992 I established Timeout in Moruya a respite facility for Australian Institute of Sport elite athletes, replicated in Tweed Heads in 2006 and a third respite (a cottage) at Laguna Quays (Whitsundays) catering for missionaries, missions and ministers.

I have authored 24 books and wrote field hockey for The Australian newspaper to 1994. I also have a celebrated history as a religious writer and in 2008 I was invited to become a daily 'comment' columnist with Christian Today. When asked in 2009 to add a daily sport article, I introduced five young sport writers and this developed into Press Service International - with 85 'comment' young writers across Australia and New Zealand and elsewhere with Christian Today. In 2017 I established Christian Today New Zealand.

In 2000 Well-Being Australia was established of which I am chairman and includes such ministries as the Country Town Tour program with athletes, coaches, professionals to rural and regional Australia and an environmental and art ministry with an art gallery, art prizes and my own creative art under my historic family name "Tronson du Coudray".

Mr Basil Sellers AM has been behind Delma and me and our many projects over all these years.
